Haifa Group has joined FLORA Ventures as an anchor investor to accelerate innovation
and new technologies in the AgriFood value chain   


We are proud to announce that Haifa Group has joined as an anchor investor in FLORA Ventures, a leading sustainable AgriFood venture capital (VC) fund. This investment and partnership mark a significant milestone in our journey to promote sustainable and impactful change in the world.
FLORA Ventures, led by Gil Horsky and Esther Barak-Landes, is a $80 million VC fund, that already had its first closing with commitments of $50 million, making it the largest Israeli-based AgriFood VC. FLORA focuses on investing in early-stage startups from Israel and Europe that are building a more sustainable and resilient AgriFood system and support those ventures in scaling globally. FLORA Ventures brought together top-tier, complementary institutional & strategic anchor investors including Sadot Kibbutzim, a co-op bringing together more than 185 Kibbutzim with an agricultural output of over $3 billion exported to over 100 countries; Harel Group, Israel’s largest insurance and finance group with more than $100 billion assets under management, and of course Haifa Group.




This partnership will provide Haifa Group proprietary access to disruptive technologies and startups that can serve as future partners and growth engines to its operations. While Haifa Group will serve as a potential design partner to FLORA’s portfolio companies, offering them access to its expertise, R&D resources and go-to-market capabilities.
