Nitrogen (N) is essential for early vegetative growth and plays a key role in supporting flowering after induction. However, excessive nitrogen—particularly later in the season—can delay flowering, reduce fruit quality, and increase the risk of Internal Fruit Breakdown (IFB) as well as susceptibility to diseases.
